Crews are again draining the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool as President Donald Trump’s problem-plagued effort to revamp the waterway pushes well past his initial goal of having it ready by July 4 to mark the nation’s 250th birthday.

A chain-link fence blocking the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool could remain until early next year.

A CNN crew reported they "did not notice any obvious signs of long gashes in the recently installed lining" - but noted they were unable to gain full access to the Reflecting Pool because of fencing.
